Halloween Promo Nearly Kills Forever Mortuary. Can Easter Promo Resurrect it?

The Daily Chronicle reports that Ethan Fox IV, OK'd an advertising campaign with Don Corleon's Pizza Palor last Halloween. The famous local pizza place was to give away miniature toys for kiddies in the shapes of tombstones, ghosts, pumpkins, coffins, and skeletons with its pizzas during October. Forever Mortuary's name, address, phone number and website were to be printed on the toys. That was until Ethan Fox III Concorded back from London after hastily cancelling a two week vacation. The newspaper learned that Fox III cancelled the promotion after he saw the toys. A source close to the mortuary told this paper that either someone was playing a terrible joke on the Foxes or else the ghouls tricked instead of treated them. This source says that the ghost toy look suspiciously like the late great Maximillan Fox, founder of Forever Mortuary. The skeleton resembles Ariel Fox, the 18 year old anorexic daughter of Fox III. The tombstones have the initials of Faith Fox with her birthdate and the "death date" Oct. 31, 2000. When the toy coffin opens, a price tag inside pops up listing it for $5000.00 retail and $300.00 wholesale.***

***With Halloween a horrible memory, The Foxes are looking for a fresh spring start with an Easter ad campaign. Crandall told Jenny who told Edith, after swearing not to, that Fox III signed a deal with All-Mark greeting cards to bring out a line of Forever Mortuary sympathy cards. This newspaper got an anonymous fax showing some of the cards. One pictures the entire Fox clan in satanic outfits dancing around a bonfire with Stonehenge in the background. Another shows Mary Magdalen and Mary waiting outside the tomb with the rock rolled away. The inside of the card depicts a figure in flowing white robes and hair stepping out of the tomb. The figure looks amazingly like old Maximillan Fox and Mary Magdalen uncannily like Mrs. Fox III*** ***Despite the Foxes threat of libel against The Daily Chronicle, this editor and staff will not let them violate the First Amendment!
